Biindigin: The Birth of the Drum

Join our elder-in-residence Diane for this rarely offered event at the Durham Town Hall. She'll guide us through the birth of a drum, which some say is about love, about healing and about helping all races come together.

There is no fee for this ceremony, but women are asked to wear skirts and all who have rattles or drums are asked to bring them.
